About CBQAreadout

The purpose of the CBQA Readout Proficiency Testing program is to increase and harmonize proficiency of biomarker readout for clinical scientists, pathologists, and medical laboratory technologists. We focus on biomarkers that require a high level of skill as demanded by advancements in precision medicine.

CBQAreadout.ca uses digital images instead of glass slides. Therefore, the performance with digital images may or may not be fully representative of performance with histology slides. Participants may have the same, worse, or better performance with digital images than with physical glass slides. However, taking part in this exercise does enable participants to compare their performance with that of experts as well as their peer group using the same media format.

The modules on CBQAReadout.ca are accessible at any time and participants can work through the modules at their own pace.
